Simplified widget for residential communities, clubs and associations without payment management

The community widget is a simplified version of the booking system, designed for residential communities, private clubs and associations where online payment is not required.

What is the community widget?

It's a special mode that:

  • Does not show prices at any step
  • Does not require payment to confirm bookings
  • Simplified flow of 4 steps instead of 7
  • Free bookings confirmed automatically

When to use it?

Ideal for:

  • Residential communities with pool/common areas
  • Sports clubs with courts or facilities
  • Associations with shared spaces
  • Companies with meeting rooms or parking

Requirements

  • Basic Plan (Communities) or higher with the feature enabled
  • If you have another plan, contact support to enable this feature

Widget features

No prices

  • Sun loungers/spaces don't show prices
  • There's no payment step
  • The summary doesn't include totals

Instant confirmation

Bookings are confirmed automatically without requiring payment.


Configuration

The community widget is enabled at the subscription plan level. Once active:

  1. The widget automatically detects community mode
  2. You don't need to configure anything else
  3. Sun lounger prices are ignored

Verify it's active

  1. Go to SettingsPlan & Billing
  2. In the plan section, verify it includes "Community Widget"

The community plan usually includes additional features to manage access:

Active reservation limit

Booking management

Create bookings manually

You can create bookings from the dashboard:

  1. Go to BookingsNew Booking
  2. Select date and spaces
  3. Enter customer data
  4. The booking is created as Confirmed

Cancel bookings

Community bookings can be cancelled:

  • From the dashboard: As an administrator
  • By email: If you enabled "Allow cancellation by user"

View occupancy

The Bookings Map visually shows occupancy:

  1. Go to BookingsBookings Map
  2. Select the date
  3. See which spaces are occupied and by whom

Notifications

Even without payments, notifications work normally:

  • Email: Confirmation and reminders
  • SMS/WhatsApp: If your plan includes it and it's configured

Frequently asked questions

Can I have prices even using the community widget?

No, the community widget is specifically designed for use without prices. If you need to charge, use the standard widget.

Can I switch from the standard widget to the community one?

Yes, contact support to change your plan. Keep in mind that you'll lose payment functionality.

Do users see who booked each space?

No, users only see their own bookings. Only administrators see all bookings.

Does QR check-in work with the community widget?

Yes, if your plan includes QR check-in, it works the same as in the standard widget.
