Extras in bookings

Extras allow you to offer additional products and services that customers can add to their bookings: umbrellas, towels, waiter service, equipment rental, etc.

Requirements

To use extras you need:

• Compatible plan: Your plan must include the "Extra Items" feature
• Payments enabled: Extras are only available if your plan allows payment processing

If you don't see the option in the menu, contact support to verify your plan.

Access settings

1. In the side menu, go to the Space section
2. Click on Extras
3. You'll see the list of configured extras (empty initially)

Create an extra

Click New Extra and complete the form:

Basic information

Available categories

Daily stock (optional)

You can limit the quantity available per day:

• No limit: Leave the field empty
• With limit: Enter the maximum number available each day

Stock resets automatically each day.

Image (optional)

Upload an image of the extra to display it more attractively in the widget.

Assign extras to sun lounger templates

Extras are not automatically available for all sun loungers. You must assign them to specific templates.

Configure in the template

1. Go to Lounger Zones → Lounger Models
2. Edit the desired template
3. In the Available extras section, select the extras
4. Optionally, customize the price for this template

Custom price

You can set a different price for each template:

• Base price: The one configured in the extra
• Custom price: Overrides the base price for this template

Example: An umbrella can cost €5 for standard sun loungers but €3 for VIP sun loungers (partially included).

How the customer sees it

In the booking widget, after selecting the sun loungers:

1. A section "Add extras to your booking" appears
2. The customer sees available extras with their price
3. They can select the quantity of each extra
4. The total price updates automatically

Information displayed

• Name and image of the extra
• Description (if available)
• Price per unit
• Quantity selector
• Available stock (if limited)

Manage existing extras

Enable/Disable

Each extra has a toggle to enable or disable it without deleting it. Useful for:

• Seasonal extras
• Temporarily out of stock products

Edit

Click on an extra to modify any field.

Delete

Use the delete button to permanently remove an extra.

Existing bookings with that extra keep their historical data.

In the bookings list

Bookings with extras show a visual indicator.

In the booking detail

You can see:

• Included extras
• Quantity of each
• Individual price
• Extras subtotal
• Total price (sun loungers + extras)

Important considerations

Prices and seasonal rates

• Seasonal rates DO NOT affect extras prices
• Extras maintain their fixed price throughout the year
• If you need to vary prices, create different extras for each season

Stock and availability

• Stock is verified at the time of confirming the booking
• If there's not enough stock, an error message is shown
• Cancelled bookings release the reserved stock

Modify bookings

• When editing a booking, you can add or remove extras
• The price is recalculated automatically

- Waiter service: €0 (Service) - free but with limited stock
