Booking schedule

Define at what hours of the day reservations can be made from the widget

Booking schedules allow you to control at what times users can access the widget to make reservations. Useful to avoid late-night bookings or manage availability.

What is it for?

This feature allows you to:

  • Limit nighttime bookings to avoid conflicts
  • Concentrate bookings during office/reception hours
  • Manage demand at specific times

Requirements

  • Compatible plan: Your plan must include "Booking Schedule"
  • Usually available in the Basic Plan (Communities)

How it works

Without schedule configured

If you don't configure a schedule, the widget is available 24 hours.

With schedule configured

Users can only complete bookings within the defined schedule.

What is restricted?

  • Creating new bookings from the widget
  • The widget shows an out-of-hours message

What is NOT restricted?

  • View availability: Users can check dates
  • Bookings from dashboard: Administrators have no restriction
  • Cancellations: Users can cancel at any time

Configuration

  1. Go to Settings in the side menu
  2. Select Restrictions
  3. Configure:
    • Opening time: From what time bookings can be made
    • Closing time: Until what time bookings can be made
  4. Click Save

Disable restriction

Leave both fields empty to allow 24-hour bookings.


User message

Outside allowed hours, the user sees:

"The booking system is available from [opening_time] to [closing_time]. Please come back during those hours."


Time zone

The schedule applies according to the server's time zone (Europe/Madrid). Keep this in mind if you have users in other time zones.

Community with concierge

Configure the concierge's availability schedule so they can handle inquiries:

Opening: 09:00
Closing: 21:00

Considerations

In-progress bookings

If a user starts booking within the schedule and the schedule closes while they're completing the form:

  • The booking will be completed if the user finishes before their session expires
  • The process is not interrupted midway

Schedule changes

Schedule changes are applied immediately. If you reduce the schedule, users outside the new schedule will see the restriction message.

Combination with other restrictions

This schedule works alongside:

  • Active reservation limit
  • Authorized emails list

A user must meet all restrictions to be able to book.


Frequently asked questions

Can I have different schedules by day of the week?

Currently no. The configured schedule applies the same every day.

Does it affect existing bookings?

No. Already created bookings are not affected. It only limits creating new bookings.

Do administrators have this restriction?

No. Bookings created from the dashboard have no schedule restriction.

Can I configure a schedule that crosses midnight?

Currently it's not possible to configure a schedule like "22:00 to 02:00". The closing time must be after the opening time within the same day.
