Import background image
Add an aerial photo or floor plan of your zone as the map background

A background image helps customers orient themselves and choose the sun lounger with the best location.
Recommended image types
Aerial photo
Ideal for beaches and open spaces. You can get it from:
- Google Maps (satellite view)
- Drone
- Photography from an elevated point
Floor plan or sketch
Ideal for pools and terraces. It can be:
- Simplified architectural plan
- Hand-drawn sketch
- Design in tools like Canva
Technical requirements

| Resolution | Minimum 1000px wide |
| Aspect ratio | Similar to your real zone |
Upload the image
- Open the map editor of your zone
- Click on "Background" in the toolbar
- Select "Upload image"
- Choose the file from your computer
- Wait for it to process
Adjust the image
Scale
Adjust the size to match real proportions:
- Use the "Scale" slider
- Compare with the size of the sun loungers
Position
Center the image on the canvas:
- Drag the image with the mouse
- Or use arrows for fine adjustments
Opacity
Reduce opacity if the image is distracting:
- Adjust the "Opacity" control
- Recommended: 60-80%
Change or remove image
- Change: Upload a new image, it will replace the previous one
- Remove: Click on "Remove background"
Tips
Orientation: Place north at the top or the sea/pool in the part that makes sense for your customers.
Privacy: Avoid having identifiable people in the photo.
Update: Update the image if you make significant physical changes to the zone.
Usage example
A beach could use:
- Google Maps satellite photo as base
- Opacity at 70%
- Sun loungers placed on the sand area
This allows customers to see exactly where they'll be: near the water, the beach bar, etc.
